BHARAT DIVYADARSHAN मेवाड़ के गौरव का प्रतीक दोस्ती लंधन सिक्का - Symbol of the glory of Mewar London In the mid-19th century, as the British control over India grew, many states were pressured into placing the name of the British sovereign on their coins. Mewar resisted this pressure and compromised by inserting the legend "friends of London" on this new coin series. The obverse of the coin evoked the ancient Mewari capital of Chitrakut (Chitor), both in the legend and in the abstaract representation of the Chittorgarh fort in the design.

Astonishing Truth Stories of the Life of Maharishi Parashar
The word 'Parashar' means the word 'Parashunuti papaneeti Parashar:' that is, the one who destroys all sins by remembering and sighting, That is Parashar.
Parashar's father's name was Shaktimuni and his mother's name was Adhyashyanti. Shaktamuni was the son of Vasishtha Rishi and the father of Vedavyasa. On this basis, Parashar was the grandson of Vashishtha.
Shaktamuni's marriage was made from the ascetic Vaishya chitramukh's daughter adhyashyanti.
It is said that Sage Parashar was in his mother's womb for 12 years.

While living in the womb of the mother, Parashar had heard the Brahmaand Purana when his Father promouncing veda.

Due to the curse of Shaktamuni Veersah Prince of Ayodhya becomes a monster called Kalmashpad.Because of the curse angry veersah ate the hundred sons of Rishi Vashishta with Shakti Muni. 
When sage Parashar became to know that his father was killed by a monster, he decided to destroy all the monster castes from the earth.
